Edinburgh Zoo

My daughter has a fascination with pandas. My son just simply adores penguins.
logical thing to do would be to become annual members of Edinburgh Zoo.

We have been 3 times in the space of three weeks, and every time there is something different that we have not seen before. I'm sure that by visit 4 or 5 that will not be the case.

Edinburgh Zoo, however is set upon a hill. Not so good for someone like me, who suffers from Fibromyalgia. Two of our three visits has seen the Zoo transport being out of service, so I made it to the middle, sat and had a coffee in the sunshine and watched the penguins dart about, while Mr P and the kids walked up to see the tigers and big cats.

I have to admit, I found it so relaxing. Nice to get a bit of peace too, in the middle of a crowded place.

So, here we are.

2013. August... my little baby will soon be 3 and my son has just started in Primary 2.
Where has the time gone?

A friend suggested to me that I should blog about our lives... I have no idea why, as I don't think we are that interesting.... just a normal family in a small town, living day to day lives as they come.

I'm a mother of 2. Joe, and Callie. I am married to Richard, I have cats.... 3, perhaps 4. depends on when the 4th comes wandering in.

I used to work as a wedding and Events co-ordinator. I loved my job, and was all set to return after studying when I fell pregnant with Callie.

I suffer from fibrmyalgia. I have good days, I have bad days. I have inbetween days. Its not much fun. I don't dwell on it. I have learned to live with the pain. I will not let this condition stop me making memories for my children. happy ones.

So.... lets get started with this blog then.
